Two Upstate medical students chosen as national leadership scholars
Students put their efforts behind projects to improve lives in central New York, from good nutrition for school-aged children to helping educate students on mental health issues.

William Joseph Brunken, PhD, named vice chair for research for Ophthalmology Department

Conference room dedication honors heroine of 1913 Binghamton fire
Thirty workers were killed in the 1913 fire at the Binghamton Clothing Company. The fire led to the creation of New York's Workers Compensation system.

Happy Birthday, Myrtle! Upstate nurse celebrates 90th birthday
At 90 years of age, Bush began her nursing career 70 years ago. She works at the Community Campus, assisting with annual flu clinics, cardiac risk screening clinics and health fairs.
