Upstate’s Rural Medical Education program celebrates 25th anniversary, with visit to Oswego Health
Oswego Health is one of Upstate's longest and strongest supporters of the RMED program provides medical students with the ability to study medicine in the rural setting.


Upstate to recognize outstanding service at Fall Faculty Convocation Sept. 17
In all, 23 individuals will be recognized by President Eastwood for distinguished service to Upstate Medical University. The Upstate community is welcome to attend. A reception will follow in the Weiskotten Hall courtyard.


Annual Radiothon for Kids set to air Sept. 10, 11
In its 12-year run, The Radiothon for Kids has raised more than $750,000 from the community to support the care and amenities for children treated at Upstate Golisano Children's Hospital.


Upstate study looks at interactions between rural setting and clinical training of students
Upstate's RMED program places students from Upstate's Syracuse and Binghamton campuses into private offices and small rural hospitals for a 36-week period of clinical training. The program has been running for 25 years.
