Oneida First Presbyterian Church student, Clay, chose to do a bake sale/fundraiser for his confirmation project and donate the proceeds to Upstate Golisano Children's Hospital.  He, along with members of the congregation, baked goodies and raised $771.

Upstate puts its volunteers in the spotlight during National Healthcare Volunteer Week
Upstate has more than 500 volunteers ranging in age from 14 to 94. Events will run April 12 to 18 at downtown and community campuses.


Researchers identify subtype of lethal prostate cancer
Researchers at Upstate Medical University and Harvard University have linked the loss of key gene, WAVE1, to a lethal form of prostate cancer, according to a study published in the journal Oncotarget.
