2013 Erie Canal Ride
Proceeds support the Dr. William J. Waters Center for Children’s Cancer and Blood Disorders at the Upstate Cancer Center and therapeutic recreation for patients of the 2N Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Unit at Upstate University Hospital.
Explore the historic Erie Canal on The Erie Canal Ride - a two-day, 72-mile bicycle ride along the Old Erie Canal Trail from Dewitt to Rome, NY and back again. Meals are provided.

Cyclists begin their journey Friday, May 17 at 9:00am at the Butternut Creek Aqueduct in Dewitt and travel 36 miles to Erie Canal Village in Rome, NY. The return trip to Dewitt begins at 9:00am on Saturday, May 18.
$125 minimum donation (enlist friends and family to sponsor your ride for a great cause!)

Contact Pat Martin for details on group rates for an overnight stay at the Econo Lodge in Rome. For those who prefer to not to stay overnight, transportation will be provided by American Legion Post 1832 to Syracuse on Friday following dinner and to Rome Saturday morning for the 9:00am return leg of the Ride.
